Ligue 1 (Week 7) : Marseille defeats Toulouse 2-0
FRANCE, Sep. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Marseille. After their 0-2 win against Amiens SC on September 17, Marseille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Toulouse this Sunday.
Marseille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Florian Thauvin in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ocampos in the 61st minute.
Olympique de Marseille climbed to fifth place with 13 points from 7 games, only one point behind Saint-Etienne.
