Ligue 1 (Week 8) : Monaco and Montpellier tied at 1-1
FRANCE, Sep. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 8: Monaco was held to a 1-1 draw by Montpellier on Friday.
The Monacos started off well by taking the lead thanks to Colombian forward Radamel Falcao in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Montpellier with a saving goal from Senegalese forward Souleymane Camara in the 90th minute.
AS Monaco remains in second place with 19 points from 8 games, tie on points with Paris Saint-Germain, which has a game in hand.
