Ligue 1 (Week 8) : Angers and Lyon play out 3-3 draw
FRANCE, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 8: The match between Angers and Lyon ended in a 3-3 draw on Sunday.
Lyon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Diaz Mariano ('5), Diakhaby ('38) and Depay Memphis ('41) while Angers only scored once Rafael Da Silva ('30 own). However, even though they were leading 3-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Angers with goals by Karl Toko Ekambi ('58) and Ismaël Traoré ('67).
Olympique Lyonnais remains in 7th place with 13 points from 8 games, one point behind Saint-Etienne.
