FRANCE, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 8: After a 2-2 draw with Rennes on September 24, Saint-Etienne lost 2-1 against Troyes.
Troyes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Bryan Pelé in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, ESTAC further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Khaoui Saif-eddine in the 57th minute.
Saint-Etienne are down in 6th place with 14 points from 8 games, one point behind Bordeaux.
