Ligue 2 (Week 9) : Auxerre defeats Arles-Avignon 2-1
FRANCE, Sep. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 9: After their 1-1 draw against Ajaccio on September 23 and 0-0 draw against Angers on September 23, AJA bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Arles-Avignon this Friday.
Auxerre defender Castelletto opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Arles-Avignon catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Larsen Touré. 1-1 at half time. AJA eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Mulumba in the 46th minute.
AJ Auxerre climbed to 10th place with 12 points from 9 games, tie on points with Stade Laval.
