Ligue 2 (Week 9) : Niort beats Angers 2-1
FRANCE, Sep. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 9: After losing 4-1 to Troyes on September 23, “Les Chamois” bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Angers this Friday.
Angers had started off well by taking the lead in the 7th minute with a goal by defender Romain Thomas. Trailing 1-0 at half time, “Les Chamois” nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Dona Ndoh '56 and Martin '86).
Chamois Niortais FC climbed to 7th place with 13 points from 9 games, only one point behind Stade Brest.
