Ligue 2 (Week 13) : Brest beats Auxerre 3-0
FRANCE, Oct. 31, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Brest. After their 3-0 win against GFC Ajaccio on October 24, Brest continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-0 victory over Auxerre this Friday.
Brest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Simon Falette in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Grougi '48 and Alphonse '85/penalty).
Stade Brest climbed to second place with 24 points from 13 games, 2 points behind Dijon FCO.
