Ligue 2 (Week 14) : Auxerre beats Tours 3-2
FRANCE, Nov. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 14: After losing 0-3 to Brest on October 31, AJA bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Tours this Friday.
Vincent Gragnic scored dual goals
Tours had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Kouakou ('29) and Bergougnoux ('32 on penalty), while Auxerre only scored once Gragnic ('14). Trailing 2-1 at half time, AJA nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Diarra '66 and Gragnic '73).
AJ Auxerre climbed to 9th place with 20 points from 14 games, only one point behind Le Havre AC, which has a game in hand.
