Ligue 2 (Week 14) : Nimes defeats Niort 3-2
FRANCE, Nov. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 14: After losing 0-1 to Auxerre on October 31 and 3-0 to Clermont on October 31, the Crocodiles returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Niort this Friday.
Toifilou Maoulida scored dual goals
Niort had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Koné ('7, '45), while Nimes only scored once Maoulida ('44). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Crocodiles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Sartre '57 and Maoulida '88).
Nimes Olympique climbed to 12nd place with 18 points from 14 games, tie on points with AC Ajaccio.
