Ligue 2 (Week 18) : Laval defeats Valenciennes 3-1
FRANCE, Dec. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Laval. After their 0-1 win against Le Havre on December 12, the Tangos continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-1 victory over Valenciennes this Friday.
Valenciennes forward Opa Nguette opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Laval catch up in the 22nd minute thanks to Christian Bekamenga. 1-1 at half time. The Tangos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Mimoun ('69) and Gonçalves ('90).
Stade Laval climbed to 7th place with 26 points from 18 games, tie on points with Angers SCO.
