Ligue 2 (Week 18) : Auxerre and Niort play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Dec. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 18: The match between Auxerre and Niort ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Niort players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ivorian forward Seydou Koné in the 4th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Auxerre with a saving goal from Auxerre midfielder Grégory Berthier in the 79th minute.
AJ Auxerre remains in 8th place with 26 points from 18 games, tie on points with Stade Laval.
