Ligue 2 (Week 19) : Niort and GFC Ajaccio play out 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Jan. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 19: GFC Ajaccio was held to a 1-1 draw by Niort on Friday.
GFC Ajaccio players started off well by taking the lead thanks to GFC Ajaccio forward Khalid Boutaïb in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Niort with a saving goal from Cameroonian forward Ande Dona Ndoh in the 85th minute.
Gazelec Ajaccio remains in fifth place with 30 points from 19 games, one point behind FC Sochaux-Montbeliard, which has a game in hand.
