FRANCE, Dec. 12, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Sochaux. After their 1-0 win against Clermont on November 28, “Les Lionceaux” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over Niort this Friday.
45 minutes of play and neither Sochaux nor Niort have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Sochaux forward Edouard Butin in the 50th minute.
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard climbed to fourth place with 30 points from 17 games, tie on points with Troyes AC, which has a game in hand.
