Ligue 2 (Week 11) : Sochaux defeats Chateauroux 4-1
FRANCE, Oct. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 11: After their 0-0 draw against Auxerre on October 3, “Les Lionceaux” bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Chateauroux this Friday.
Sochaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Florin Berenguer in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Lionceaux” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Caceres '66, Butin '77 and Ilaimaharitra '82).
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard climbed to 7th place with 16 points from 11 games, only one point behind Troyes AC, which has a game in hand.
