Ligue 2 (Week 11) : Clermont and Ajaccio play out 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Oct. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 11: The match between Clermont and Ajaccio ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Clermont players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ajaccio midfielder Benoît Pedretti into his own net in the 31st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Ajaccio with a saving goal from Ajaccio forward Marvin Diop in the 72nd minute.
AC Ajaccio climbed to 14th place with 12 points from 11 games, only one point behind US Orleans.
