Ligue 2 (Week 11) : Dijon defeats Valenciennes 3-0
FRANCE, Oct. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Dijon. After their 1-0 win against Clermont on October 3, Dijon continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-0 victory over Valenciennes this Monday.
Dijon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender William Remy in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dijon players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Philippoteaux '58 and Bela '90).
Dijon FCO remains in first place with 23 points from 11 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Gazelec Ajaccio.
