Ligue 2 (Week 20) : Auxerre and Clermont play out 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Jan. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 20: The match between Auxerre and Clermont ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Clermont players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Clermont midfielder Adrien Hunou in the 29th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Auxerre with a saving goal from Auxerre forward Julien Viale in the 88th minute.
AJ Auxerre climbed to 8th place with 28 points from 20 games, 2 points behind Stade Laval.
