FRANCE, Jan. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Nimes. After their 0-1 win against Ajaccio on January 9, the Crocodiles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-0 victory over Valenciennes this Friday.
Valenciennes made Nimes doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Maoulida ('52 on penalty) and Nouri ('79).
Nimes Olympique climbed to 10th place with 25 points from 20 games, 2 points behind AS Nancy-Lorraine, which has a game in hand.
