Ligue 2 (Week 21) : Brest beats Angers 2-1
FRANCE, Jan. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 21: After their 0-0 draw against Niort on January 16, Brest bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Angers this Monday.
Brest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Chahir Belghazouani in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Guillon into his own net in stoppage time.
Stade Brest climbed to second place with 38 points from 21 games, 7 points behind Troyes AC.
