Ligue 2 (Week 23) : Troyes hold GFC Ajaccio to 1-1
FRANCE, Feb. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 23: The match between actual leader Troyes and GFC Ajaccio ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Friday.
GFC Ajaccio players started off well by taking the lead thanks to GFC Ajaccio midfielder Louis Poggi in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Troyes with a saving goal from Troyes forward Corentin Jean in the 72nd minute.
Troyes AC remains in first place with 46 points from 23 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up Stade Brest, which has a game in hand.
