Ligue 2 (Week 26) : Dijon defeats Creteil 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 26: After their 1-1 draw against Niort on February 20 and 1-1 draw against GFC Ajaccio on February 20, Dijon returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Creteil this Friday.
Dijon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Cape Verdean forward Julio Tavares in the 7th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dijon players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Remy with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Dijon FCO climbed to third place with 44 points from 26 games, only one point behind Gazelec Ajaccio.
