Ligue 2 (Week 26) : Angers beats Auxerre 1-0
FRANCE, Mar. 2, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Angers. After their 2-0 win against Laval on February 20, SCO continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over Auxerre this Monday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Tunisian forward Khaled Ayari in stoppage time.
Angers SCO climbed to third place with 44 points from 26 games, only one point behind Gazelec Ajaccio.
