Ligue 2 (Week 28) : Valenciennes and Troyes play out 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Mar. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 28: Troyes was held to a 1-1 draw by Valenciennes on Monday.
Valenciennes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Valenciennes defender Yunis Abdelhamid in the 11th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Troyes with a saving goal from Troyes defender Matthieu Saunier in the 61st minute.
Troyes AC remains in first place with 54 points from 28 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Angers SCO.
