Ligue 2 (Week 29) : Nimes defeats Tours 3-2
FRANCE, Mar. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 29: Three wins in a row for Nimes. After their success against GFC Ajaccio and Laval, the Crocodiles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-2 victory over Tours this Friday.
Tours midfielder Billy Ketkeophomphone opened the score in the 42nd minute, before seeing Nimes catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Alexandre Mendy. 1-1 at half time. The Crocodiles eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Maoulida ('77) and Marin ('90).
Nimes Olympique climbed to 7th place with 44 points from 29 games, only one point behind FC Sochaux-Montbeliard.
