Ligue 2 (Week 30) : Auxerre beats Nimes 3-1
FRANCE, Apr. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 30: After losing 2-1 to Nancy on March 23, AJA returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Nimes this Friday.
Nimes had started off well by taking the lead in the 40th minute with a goal by Greek forward Panagiotis Vlachodimos. Trailing 1-0 at half time, AJA nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Diarra '49, Baby '59 and Sammaritano '86).
AJ Auxerre climbed to 8th place with 45 points from 30 games, only one point behind FC Sochaux-Montbeliard.
