Ligue 2 (Week 36) : Valenciennes and Laval play out 2-2 draw
FRANCE, May. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 36: The match between Valenciennes and Laval ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Laval players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Laval midfielder Zeoula in the 35th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Zeoula goal ('74) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Valenciennes with dual goals from Valenciennes forward Anthony Le Tallec ('56 and '88.
Stade Laval remains in 11st place with 48 points from 36 games, 2 points behind FC Sochaux-Montbeliard, which has a game in hand.
