Ligue 2 (Week 19) : Nancy beats Evian 1-0
FRANCE, Dec. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Nancy. After their 1-0 win against Valenciennes on December 14, the Thistles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over Evian this Thursday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Moroccan forward Youssouf Hadji with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
AS Nancy-Lorraine climbed to first place with 39 points from 19 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Dijon FCO, which has a game in hand.
