Ligue 2 (Week 19) : Clermont beats Brest 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Clermont. After their 4-1 win against Laval on December 11, Clermont continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Brest this Friday.
Brest had started off well by taking the lead in the 20th minute with a goal by forward Alexandre Alphonse. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Clermont players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Diedhiou '62 and Hunou '82).
Clermont Foot climbed to third place with 31 points from 19 games, 6 points behind Dijon FCO.
