Ligue 2 (Week 18) : Clermont beats Laval 4-1
FRANCE, Dec. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 18: After their 1-1 draw against Tours on December 1, Clermont returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Laval this Friday.
Famara Diedhiou scored tripple goals
Clermont dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Senegalese forward Famara Diedhiou in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Clermont players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Diedhiou '55/penalty, '68/penalty and Genest '77).
Clermont Foot climbed to fifth place with 28 points from 18 games, 2 points behind Red Star FC.
