Ligue 2 (Week 2) : GFC Ajaccio defeats Auxerre 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 2: After their 0-0 draw against Brest on July 29, Le Gaz returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Auxerre this Friday.
GFC Ajaccio midfielder Court Yoann opened the score in the 23rd minute on penalty, before seeing Auxerre catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Fournier Remi. 1-1 at half time. Le Gaz eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Cisse Sekou in the 53rd minute.
Gazelec Ajaccio climbed to fourth place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Valenciennes FC.
