Ligue 2 (Week 14) : GFC Ajaccio defeats Red Star 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 14: After losing 1-0 to Bourg-Peronnas on October 28, Le Gaz bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Red Star this Friday.
Robert Maah scored dual goals
GFC Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Robert Maah in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Le Gaz further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Maah in the 55th minute.
Gazelec Ajaccio climbed to 8th place with 20 points from 14 games, tie on points with RC Strasbourg Alsace, which has a game in hand.
