Ligue 2 (Week 14) : Nimes hold Clermont to 1-1
FRANCE, Nov. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 14: The match between Nimes and Clermont ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Nimes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Nimes forward Rachid Alioui in the 3rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Clermont with a saving goal from Senegalese midfielder Lopy Joseph in the 66th minute.
Nimes Olympique are down in 10th place with 19 points from 14 games, one point behind Chamois Niortais FC.
