FRANCE, Sep. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 6: After a 2-2 draw with Sochaux on August 29, Brest lost 2-0 against Clermont.
Clermont dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Rémy Dugimont in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Clermont players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Thiam Mamadou seconds before the end of regulation.
Stade Brest are down in third place with 11 points from 6 games, one point behind Reims.
