FRANCE, Sep. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 6: After losing 2-3 to Amiens SC on August 26, the Crocodiles returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Niort this Friday.
Rachid Alioui scored dual goals
Nimes dominated the first half thanks to goals from Alioui ('9) and Kouakou ('14). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Crocodiles further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Alioui in the 53rd minute.
Nimes Olympique climbed to 16th place with 5 points from 6 games, only one point behind Red Star FC.
