Ligue 2 (Week 5) : Amiens beats Nimes 3-2
FRANCE, Aug. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 5: Three wins in a row for Amiens SC. After their success against Niort and Lens, Amiens SC continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-2 victory over Nimes this Friday.
Nimes had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Alioui ('13, '45), while Amiens only scored once Bourgaud Emmanuel ('19). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Amiens SC players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Fofana Guessouma '67 and Dibassy Bakaye '76).
Amiens Sporting Club climbed to second place with 10 points from 5 games, tie on points with Stade Brest, which has a game in hand.
