Ligue 2 (Week 5) : Clermont beats Ajaccio 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Clermont. After their 0-1 win against Auxerre on August 19, Clermont continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Ajaccio this Friday.
Ajaccio had started off well by taking the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by forward Riad Nouri. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Clermont players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Guerbert '66 and Ajorque Ludovic '68).
AC Ajaccio are down in 9th place with 7 points from 5 games, tie on points with Troyes AC.
