FRANCE, Mar. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 30: Two wins in a row for Niort. After their 2-1 win against Valenciennes on March 10, “Les Chamois” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over Clermont this Friday.
Clermont made Niort doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Niort midfielder Sambia Junior in the 77th minute.
Chamois Niortais FC climbed to 8th place with 43 points from 30 games, 2 points behind Nimes Olympique.
