Ligue 2 (Week 30) : Brest defeats Laval 3-0
FRANCE, Mar. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 30: After losing 1-2 to Ajaccio on March 11 and 4-1 to RC Strasbourg on March 11, Brest bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Laval this Friday.
Brest dominated the first half thanks to goals from Nganioni ('8) and Diallo Habib ('28). Leading 2-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Faussurier in the 55th minute.
Stade Brest climbed to first place with 52 points from 30 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Lens, which has a game in hand.
