FRANCE, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 29: Brest crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 4-1 against RC Strasbourg.
RC Strasbourg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Belgian midfielder Baptiste Guillaume in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, RC Strasbourg players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Lienard Dimitri '62, Guillaume Baptiste '80 and Boutaib Khalid '90).
Stade Brest are down in second place with 49 points from 29 games, tie on points with Reims.
