Ligue 2 (Week 36) : Tours beats Laval 3-1
FRANCE, May. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Tours. After their 3-0 win against Clermont on April 28, TFC continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-1 victory over Laval this Friday.
Tours dominated the first half thanks to goals from Diarra Cheick ('29) and Selemani Faiz ('31). Leading 2-0 at the break, TFC further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bouanga in the 70th minute.
Tours FC climbed to 14th place with 43 points from 36 games, only one point behind FC Bourg-Peronnas.
