Ligue 2 (Week 36) : Amiens defeats Sochaux 2-1
FRANCE, May. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 36: Four wins in a row for Amiens SC. After their success against Le Havre, Brest and Ajaccio, Amiens SC continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Sochaux this Friday.
Ndombele Tanguy scored dual goals
Sochaux forward Yoann Touzghar opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Amiens SC catch up in the 25th minute thanks to Ndombele Tanguy. 1-1 at half time. Amiens SC eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Ndombele Tanguy with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Amiens Sporting Club climbed to second place with 60 points from 36 games, 2 points behind RC Strasbourg Alsace, which has a game in hand.
