Two goals for both sides in the first half, Jeannin ('31 own) and Gomis Arthur ('42) for Orleans, Ajorque Ludovic ('2) and Dugimont ('8) for Clermont and none in the second.
Clermont Foot climbed to 15th place with 43 points from 37 games, only one point behind FC Bourg-Peronnas.
