Ligue 2 (Week 37) : Nimes defeats Ajaccio 3-1
FRANCE, May. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Nimes. After their 2-3 win against Brest on May 6, the Crocodiles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-1 victory over Ajaccio this Friday.
Briancon Anthony opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Ajaccio catch up in the 33rd minute thanks to Mouaad Madri penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Crocodiles eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Ripart Renaud ('62) and Thioub ('84).
Nimes Olympique remains in 6th place with 61 points from 37 games, one point behind Stade Brest.
