Ligue 2 (Week 24) : Nimes beats Niort 3-0
FRANCE, Feb. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Nimes. After their 1-2 win against Amiens SC on February 3, the Crocodiles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-0 victory over Niort this Tuesday.
Nimes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Tunisian midfielder Larry Azouni in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Crocodiles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ripart Renaud '61 and Savanier '74/penalty).
Nimes Olympique climbed to 6th place with 36 points from 24 games, only one point behind Lens.
