Ligue 2 (Week 23) : Niort beats Bourg-Peronnas 3-2
FRANCE, Feb. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 23: After their 0-0 draw against Tours on January 27, “Les Chamois” returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Bourg-Peronnas this Friday.
Bourg-Peronnas had started off well by taking the lead in the 44th minute with a goal by Merdji Yanis. Trailing 1-0 at half time, “Les Chamois” nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Dabasse Adrian '76, Choplin '82 and Roye '89 on penalty).
Chamois Niortais FC climbed to 9th place with 33 points from 23 games, tie on points with FC Sochaux-Montbeliard, which has a game in hand.
