Ligue 2 (Week 16) : Bourg-Peronnas beats Red Star 4-1
FRANCE, Nov. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 16: After their 0-0 draw against Orleans on November 18 and 3-3 draw against Valenciennes on November 18, Bourg-Peronnas returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Red Star this Friday.
Berthoimer Jason scored dual goals
Bourg-Peronnas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Antoine Ponroy in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bourg-Peronnas players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Berthoimer Jason '47, '76/penalty and Begue Julien '72).
FC Bourg-Peronnas remains in 15th place with 19 points from 16 games, one point behind Gazelec Ajaccio.
