Ligue 2 (Week 16) : Sochaux beats GFC Ajaccio 1-0
FRANCE, Nov. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Sochaux. After their 2-1 win against Tours on November 18, “Les Lionceaux” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Sochaux forward Moussa Sao with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard climbed to 6th place with 25 points from 16 games, only one point behind Reims.
