Ligue 2 (Week 23) : Brest beats Sochaux 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Brest. After their 0-1 win against Valenciennes on January 27, Brest continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-0 victory over Sochaux this Saturday.
Brest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Battocchio Cristian in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Diallo Habib with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Stade Brest remains in first place with 44 points from 23 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Reims.
