Ligue 2 (Week 23) : Ajaccio defeats Clermont 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 23: After losing 3-2 to Bourg-Peronnas on January 27, Ajaccio bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Clermont this Friday.
Riad Nouri scored dual goals
Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Riad Nouri in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Ajaccio players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Nouri with one minute left in regular time.
AC Ajaccio climbed to 12nd place with 30 points from 23 games, only one point behind Gazelec Ajaccio.
