Ligue 2 (Week 24) : Red Star beats Ajaccio 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Le Havre on February 3, L'Étoile rouge bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Ajaccio this Monday.
Red Star dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Jean-charles Castelletto in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, L'Étoile rouge further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lefebvre with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
AC Ajaccio remains in 12nd place with 30 points from 24 games, one point behind Gazelec Ajaccio, which has a game in hand.
